“We support Taiwanese companies to exhibit at important trade fairs globally and that’s why we came to the Hong Kong International Stationery Fair. There are familiar faces from our pavilion every year as they are happy with the show, so they keep coming back and supporting the show. The stationery and paper industry has been adversely affected by the increasing popularity of electronic devices as well as a decreasing demand due to low birth rate in developed countries. Therefore, exhibiting at trade fairs is becoming more important and worthwhile to help foster business. Our association makes even more effort in supporting companies to participate in this kind of trade events. In doing so, industry players will have more opportunities to communicate and cooperate. Our exhibitors can also take advantage of the synergy effect as the Hong Kong International Stationery Fair is held concurrently with the Baby Products, Toys and Games, and Licensing shows. There are vast cooperation opportunities between the exhibitors from the Stationery and Licensing trade fairs.”

“This is our first time to the show. We are very important in Chile with our own private label brands which we distribute and sell. We have more than 1,000 different items of stationery, office supplies and computer accessories and arts and crafts. We want to know our potential here and open our business to new customers around the world. We have competitive prices for good quality. We want to show here what we can do and what we offer in our country. Our most popular items in Chile are office supplies, which we have a large market share in Chile. I was a stationery visitor a long time ago. Compared to the Canton Fair, this stationery show is more selective. Different areas that this fair covers is what we have – stationery, office supplies and gifts and toys – so we can put together all our items in two booths at the same time. We know that there are a lot of buyers in this exhibition. We hope to go back to our country with a lot of new business.”
Veronica Avendano, Own Brands Manager, Pronobel S.A., Chile (Booth: 5B-D13) |

“This is our third time at the show. We are a stationery manufacturer and exporter focusing on stationery gifts, diaries and letter papers with clients mainly from the Middle East and India. This year, we have come to the fair with a line of newly designed note books, targeting to gain potential leads from both Hong Kong and US markets.”
Johnson Ho, Export Manager, PT Solo Murni, Indonesia (Booth: 5B-D23) |

“I visit Hong Kong International Stationery Fair every year, because I want to find different suppliers of bags and stationery for kids to support my business as a trading company. I always compare the products and price among different exhibitors. At this show I can find many good quality suppliers and I usually collect information here, then place orders after the show. It would be good if the show can attract more manufacturers from Asia, such as Vietnam and Cambodia.”
Masaru Kogawa (Left), Director, Kooha Create Co Ltd, Japan |
 |
“This is the second time I visit Hong Kong International Stationery Fair as we want to see new products and market trends. This show helps the industry a lot as it attracts suppliers from different parts of the world. At this show, we can find a variety of products with unique designs and attractive colours. I think the product trend is the mix of stationery and electronic products. For example, there is a computer keyboard and mouse with special designs. From this show, we met suppliers for paper and packaging. We will visit the show again next year as it’s very convenient.”
Victor Kwong, Managing Director, Silvertec International Limited, Hong Kong |
